Always moving forward: Family Tree

This week I signed up with Ancestry.com and have started researching my family history. It's a bit overwhelming, but I enjoy it. I've already discovered a lot (with the help of other people on ancestry who happened to be in my distant family tree). I think it will be a good project/hobby for me. It's also nice that several family members seem to be interested in it too and want to help. Our local library offers Genealogy classes, so hopefully I'll be able to check that out next week.

Tonight I had another craft date (these are turning out to be so much fun). We made coasters using tile and magazine cut outs. I can't wait to see and post pictures of mine, they're still drying though. If you are someone who enjoys crafting I strongly suggest finding a few friends and make it a regular thing.

Micah comes home from the field tomorrow, but it will be pretty late. The good news is that he will be home for the next two weeks (but he'll be super busy/working hard on projects....still better than sweating in the field).
