Travel America! Make friends! Kill Zombies!!!

This is the official advertisement for the zombie slaying RP Retaking America. This RP is based off Mira Grant's "Newsflesh Trilogy" but reading those novels is not a requirement to joining. I am looking for no more than 4 skilled writers to join up for some zombie killing fun.

Now to be clear, this isn't a "run around and kill everything" story, although there will be plenty of that. This particular story follows the aftermath of a viral outbreak that wipes out approximately 32% of the world's population in only six weeks. Death tolls after the summer of 2014, referred to as The Rising, can only be estimated. More information on the world setting and the specifics of the viral outbreak can be found on the actual RP Tab.

As far as the plot of this RP, it will follow a small team working for the U.S. government to scout out areas believed to be ready for recolonization and report back on their findings. This will be a completely character driven story, only guided by the world setting in place.

The introduction of the RP chronicles my character's recruitment and subsequent hiring to lead this team in its reconnaissance missions. So read along if you want to get a feel for how this thing will go. Or join now while there is still time....
