Free disaster managment seminars for medical and dental office ...

A morning of free seminars will focus on Disaster Management and targeted to medical office and dental office managers is scheduled for Wednesday, March 28 from 7:30 a.m. to noon at Rockland Holiday Inn, 929 Hingham Street (Route 228), Rockland.

The event includes a complimentary Continental breakfast, three topics of interest to medical practitioners, a workbook that addresses each topic and a raffle for an iPad. Seating is limited to 50 participants.

Workshop topics will include

  • Employee theft, embezzlement and identify theft - Barbara Minkwitz, VP Regional Fraud Investigator, Eastern Bank Security, will outline this topic.
  • HIPPA Hot Buttons ? How to avoid patient complaints and avoid pitfalls. This will be led by Attorney Peter Pommersheim, a member of the Rogers Law Firm.
  • Risk Management and Disaster Recovery ? From flood to fire, how to prepare for the worst and be back up and running quickly. Presenter Bob London is an Executive Consultant with The Center for Continuity Leadership, a global leader in designing and developing training courses within the business continuity, disaster recovery, and crisis management industry.
